Exra Run Time File
================== 
Ensure that the file VBRUN300.DLL is in the directory path or in the
directory of the program you are running. Otherwise the program will not
execute.

2.
Travelling Waves
================ 
Travelling Waves is initially set to show a travelling transverse sine
wave.  Start the simulation by pressing the START button at the lower
right corner of the screen. 
You can adjust the Step Size (menu option) and the SPEED control slider 
in order to increase animation speed and reduce flicker.

Adjust the terminations reflection coefficient in order to observe reflected
and standing waves.

The Waves program has a self-paced tutorial written in Microsoft Excel 
format. It is in three parts and these lie in the Wavesxls directory
provided on your disk.

The entry step size is set to Coarse for initial speed, this should be 
changed to medium for the tutorial.

CRO TUTOR
=========
CRO TUTOR is available in two forms: 

Cro1 is a basic version which simulates a simple Cathode Ray Oscilloscope.
It shows a single channel CRO with only a vertical (V/div) control and a 
Timebase control in order to not overwhelm a student initially. 
Various sinewaves are displayed and the controls must be adjusted to 
see the wave correctly. 

A test is presented when the student feels confident. Pass mark is 80%.
Let your students master CRO TUTOR before letting them loose on the real 
thing!
Its also useful for a quick class demonstration of CRO basics.

It is suited to students studying their first electronics 
course at Years 8 - 11.  Current price is AUS$15 ( US$12 )per copy.

Cro2 is a more advanced version which adds coupling and trigger controls 
to the screen in the Intermediate and Advanced levels.  It is aimed at 
students in Year 12 and at the University level.  Current price is AUS$25
( US$20 ) per copy.

Program cost is per installation and any extra installations must be paid
for.
